Church Grounds

It is easy to miss because it is done so well. Next time you are at St Michaels or at St Paul's take time to look at the grounds and how well they look. This is all because of the hard work of Hugh Marshall and Arthur Palmer at St Michael's. Mike Hoddy and Andrew Harrison at St Paul's. Thank you for all your efforts we are proud of you. And while I am mentioning also the cleanliness of the buildings thanks to Pauline Coy and her helpers.

Church Building Insurance

As many are aware since the Christchurch earthquakes the cost of insurance on buildings has been revised and the cost increased. The Nelson Diocese organises all our insurance and they are holding a workshop for church wardens and Management teams on Monday night. If you would like to join in the meeting and hear the issues then talk to Karen or Martin.

Church Life Survey NZ (CLSNZ): Have you filled one in yet

This an interdenominational non-profit organisation working together for the purpose of helping churches research the needs of their congregations, so they can plan better for the future. As a church this information is valuable and we are joining with the rest of the Nelson Anglican Diocese in participating in this survey. It is important that everyone has a chance to fill out the survey so we get a true picture. Forms will be available at each service during the month of Nov. Please make sure you get one and if possible fill it out before you leave the service and hand it in (that way it does not get lost in the paper war at home).  Your support for this survey is appreciated.
